RHTech.store has talked about the uses of text messaging marketing and all the different types of business that can benefit from SMS text messaging, but we have still got some questions from potential clients on just what they should say in their text message campaigns. So, to save our clients some time we have come up with some generic SMS text messages that can be used. Remember, these are just basic examples and it is always best to customize them to your needs so that your clients can have more of a personal feel.

Restaurants

Many restaurants use our services to get the word out about specials. We have seen restaurants send out bulk text messages for both daily and weekly specials. Here are a couple examples of what RHTech.store has seen.

“Fresh fish for the day is local caught swordfish topped with a white wine sauce. Served with fresh vegetables and rice pilaf. Only $16.95!”

“Kids eat free all week when mom and dad purchase a meal!”

Bars and Nightclubs

Perhaps one of the best types of businesses that can use SMS text messaging marketing are bars and nightclubs. The content of the messages can virtually be anything ranging from drink specials to special events. Here are some examples.

“This Friday night, The Tipsy Trio is playing at 8 PM. Don’t miss this great cover band. No cover charge!”

“Don’t sit at home on Tuesday night. Half price pictures of beers! 8 beers on tap to choose from.”

Golf Courses

We all know golfers like to save money and using text messaging marketing is a great way to save your customers money while also filling up those blank spots on your tee roster. Here are some examples that golf courses can use to help promote sales.

“Tee times for tomorrow morning between 8 AM and 11 AM for half price! Limited number of spots available. Call the pro shop at 555-1212.”

“Wine and dine special this Friday evening. Enjoy 9 holes of golf & wine tasting from the local vineyards for only $20 per player! Call 555-1212 or book online.”

Schools and Teachers

Yes, even schools and teachers are starting to use bulk text messaging. Depending on the age group at the school, there are a couple different groups of clients you can target. If the students are old enough, you can send them a SMS text message. If the parents are your target group, you can send them a message. A lot of schools are using messages similar to these:

“English cancelled today due to teacher being sick.”

“Come watch our football team this Friday night and get 10% off entry with this text!”

“123 Elementary School on lockdown due to potential threat. More info as we get it. As of now, everybody is safe.”
